Makers Cabinet is a partnership of young designers and makers who have come together to bring you the highest quality drawing tools which are designed to last a lifetime. Makers cabinet began with a simple idea to re-imagine a seemingly simple product - the pencil sharpener. Makers cabinet was formed in the outskirts of Norway above the Arctic Circle where Odin Ardagh came up with a concept for a completely re-imagined pencil sharpener.
Dissatisfied with the typical twist sharpener often breaking his lead and not allowing him the freedom to craft any point he desired, not to mention that you'd need specific sharpeners for different shapes of pencils, Odin iteratively prototyped his design until he came up with the world's best pencil plane.
This was just the beginning!
